Job description

The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the accounting team with daily operations. This position will handle heavy account and bank reconciliations, as well as support an efficient monthly close. There is room for advancement and growth on this team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Location: Onsite , West Chester, PA (Hybrid after training)
Compensation: $65-75K

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Assist with the preparation of various reports, such as sales reports, cash flow reports and balance sheets
• Enter financial data into accounting software and ensure that it is accurate
• Reconcile various accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain and update customer credit accounts
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain company filing system
• Filing, scanning and data entry

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, Cost Accounting is a big plus.
• Experience with reconciliations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient Microsoft and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
