Job description
The Account Manager should be flexible enough to handle a variety of duties that pertains to their clients. Their main responsibility is to make sure a companys customers are happy.
Responsibilities
- Establish new customers by means of cold-calling and email communication
- Set up meeting with customer & prospects via phone to grow current or new accounts
- Manage accounts assigned and brought on by AM to meet customer expectations
- Continuously growing your knowledge within the forever changing freight market
- Rate negotiations with customers to meet market demands & company marginal goals
- Data Entry integrity & accuracy with Traditions TMS and CRM system
Commission Structure
- 10% of Margin on loads booked by account managers customer brought on
Commission Requirements
- Based and paid monthly upon collected payments on relevant receivables
- Minimum $5,000/month in margin to qualify

Qualifications
- 1 year experience in the industry or related field
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to handle rejection without despair
- Self-motivated and driven by position and company goals
- Relationship management skills and acceptable to directness feedback
- Account Manager must be present in order to complete essential job functions
- 2-year or 4-year College Degree (Bachelors Preferred)
