TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. Our growing team of professionals is seeking an Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will empower staff at school districts across the US to improve outcomes for their most complex learners by leveraging TeachTown’s software. You will be tasked with building, maintaining, and cultivating relationships with existing client school districts with 2000 students and less. By understanding your clients’ goals and objectives, you’ll identify opportunities for growth, and help build executive consensus to implement and optimize new strategies that improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the relationship and ultimate success of a portfolio of TeachTown’s clients that are school districts of 2,000 students and below, including strategy development, product optimization, growth, and retention

Develop outreach strategies and cadences in order to support clients at scale

Maximize value for your clients by influencing decision-makers to implement TeachTown according to best practices and by leveraging our entire suite of services

Oversee onboarding of new clients and ensure clients can quickly achieve positive student outcomes through TeachTown software

Represent the voice of the customer by delivering feedback to internal and external partners who influence the customer experience

Manage client technical questions and escalations along with support and other departments

Effectively identify, respond to and resolve client retention risks both independently and through collaboration with TeachTown teammates

Serve as your clients’ advocate internally by liaising with senior leaders across TeachTown including new business sales, marketing, product, support, and training

Leverage Salesforce.com to track sales activities and prioritize your day

Develop and provide timely and accurate reporting of forecasts, account plans, and territory growth activities

Required Education and Experience:
-
1+ years successful SAAS sales/account management experience preferably in EdTech with evidence of exceeding quota - this includes creating and maintaining a sales pipeline and understanding the renewal sales life cycle

2+ years experience in special education as an administrator or teacher
-
1+ years of presentation experience to key stakeholders, decision makers, or school district leadership. This includes and is not limited to peer teachers, principals, administrators, etc.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; proven ability to managing multiple relationships and competing priorities

Strong time and project management skills as this is a nationwide position that covers 4 time zones

Ability to travel up to 20%+/- within the United States and at times, on short notice
Preferred Education and Experience:

Demonstrated ability to manage 450+ accounts or accounts totaling $1M+ simultaneously

At least 1+ year of utilizing Salesforce to track accounts and sales activities
