Account Coordinator - Private Client (California)
Job description
Our Private Client Group is looking for an Account Coordinator to join their collaborative and hard-working team. The Private Client Group provides risk management and consulting services to High Net Worth clients, enabling them to understand their exposures and mitigate their losses. Clear communication is key as you will be working with and building relationships with people across diverse fields. In addition, the candidate must be highly organized, motivated, inventive and a quick learner.
What You'll Do:
- Process open activities such as endorsements, LPR/Cancellations, adding or deleting vehicles, etc.
- Help to reconcile client requests regarding billings, premium summaries, and to answer questions on direct and agency billing issues.
- Assist in preparing client summaries and proposals via the automated EPIC procedure or via Resource Pro.
- To assist with carrier downloads and to monitor carrier website recent activities.
- In some circumstances to perform online rating for new business and existing accounts.
- Maintain the carrier contacts database and route emails on new carrier information to the team.
- At times, depending upon technical ability and tenure, to back up the account managers by providing very basic insurance advisory services on lower tier clients.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of proven experience (broker or carrier side)
- Very strong communication skills - oral, written, phone and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and build client relationships
- Strong analytical, organization and time management skills
- Ability to work as a standout colleague
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and PowerPoint desired
- High school diploma. College degree desired
- Current Fire & Casualty license required or within 3 months of hire
