Behavior Technician - (Fairfax - Arlington - Prince William - Loudoun - Alexandria) - Bilingual preferred

The Multicultural Clinical Center is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in working within the growing field of Applied Behavior Analysis and passionate about helping change the lives of those affected by Autism and related disabilities. This is an opportunity to become an integral part of our ABA therapy program, implementing evidence-based practices with special needs children within a diverse cultural environment.

The Behavior Technician works directly with the client and receives weekly supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). MCC’s services are provided in the home as well as in the community, and focus on increasing the client’s verbal behavior and daily living skills. We also focus on decreasing maladaptive behaviors through the use of reinforcement and antecedent interventions.

MCC provides increased support for Behavior Technicians, including both on-site and in-office supervisions with a BCBA, to further knowledge and skill application of ABA teaching strategies and behavior management. Our staff operates on a team-based work structure to help both new and experienced Behavior Technicians excel and reach their fullest potential.

  • Bi-weekly meetings to review and discuss cases and or relevant peer-reviewed research.
  • Rate: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in psychology, social work, special education, or Bachelor's in ABA
  • Valid driver's license and independent transportation in addition to passing a background check.
  • Passion for working with children and/or special needs population
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of people of diverse cultures
