Position:
Assistant Cook
Function:
To provide a Supper Meal to students for the 21st Century Community Learning Center after-school program, and assist in preparation of meals for the following day.
Responsibilities:
Prepare meals for the following day's lunch program. Prepare food for the Supper Meal, serve and clean up afterward. Assist the cook where needed, help clean up, help supervise students in the lunch line. Knowledge of the components of reimbursable meals and verifying that each student receives the proper meal. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; hold a current food handler’s card. The employee is expected to be dressed and groomed in a neat, clean and appropriate professional manner for the assignment and work setting. Safety non-slip shoes must be worn at all times. Must adhere to District COVID protocols.
Rate of Pay: $12.50 per hour
Schedule: 4.0 hours per day
