Key Responsibilities:
Learn to startup batches using Extrusion software to produce in spec material

Work with Planner/Flintec/Production Manager to maintain schedules

Work on packaging line- assemble and fill boxes; when necessary, add discrepancies to cycle count.

Use of T.Q.M techniques to continuously improve procedures and manufacturing processes.

Partner with other Group Leaders and Manager to work overtime or split shifts and other cross-functional duties (flexibility)

Develop good working relations with internal and external groups (Business, Traffic, SCIN, etc.) to continue to improve the overall business process.

Engage in LEAN initiatives by providing improvement ideas and attempting efficiency gains within the Flexarome group.

Requirements:
High School Diploma Required

Prior experience handling chemicals.

Knowledge of extrusion and an understanding of special formula instructions is a plus.

Must have at least 3- 5 years of manufacturing experience, extrusion preferred.

Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

Advance SAP skills

Forklift experience required

Physical Requirements:
Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day.

Frequently lift a 35 lb product hose; frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs; required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold); must have the ability to operator a forklift.
