The opportunity

· The function of this job is to operate an assigned set of spinning frames at expected efficiency in a safe manner.

· Spinning Department

· Reports to the Shift Supervisor

The role

· Be prepared at shift change to promptly assume job responsibilities. Communicate with off going operator about existing problems.

· Operate assigned R60 spinning frames in a way to ensure maximum quality and efficiency. Cycle frames on a tugger stopping to creel empty cans, service lights, change wax and replenish tubes.

· Keep rows of cans aligned

· Discard minimal waste in correct cubes at end of frames.

· Pull thread waste at designated time throughout shift.

· All doors on cards must be closed

· All plastic covers must be on cards.

What you will bring to the role

Knowledge & Professional Experience

· HS Diploma or Equivalent preferred

· Textiles, manufacturing experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
